Greenlaw Stream, Maine WATCH GREENLAW STREAM Greenlaw stream flows for 15 miles in Maine before entering the Aroostook River in the wild and remote North Maine Woods. It looks like a nice little brook trout stream and indeed we did catch some brook trout from it.
Umcolcus Stream, Maine WATCH UMCOLCUS STREAM Umcolcus Stream is a brook trout stream in northern Maine. It forms from the convergence of its East and West branches along with a couple other small streams and flows for 4 miles into the Aroostook River. The stream and its two branches are known for brook trout fishing in the spring and fish up to 14 inches are sometimes reported. The main branch will sometimes produce warm water species. The name Umcolcus from the Abnake Native American Language and means "whistling duck".
